C. J. Gallagher is an Irish children’s author who writes magical fantasy adventure stories.
His debut story, Timmy and the Talking Jumper, was a finalist for the CapAwards.ie Independent Authors awards
Conor started his career working in the world of computers. Later in life he realised he had an incredible superpower, a superpower called “being a bit mad in the head”, so he took up writing crazy stories like these!
In his spare time he uses this superpower to invent the most incredibly stupid names for things in his books. Like “Horn Snozzlers”, “Binkles”, and “Snurkles”. What’s a “snurkle”, I hear you ask? Well, you better read some of his books to find out!
He is currently working on a few new books, all at the same time, because he’s a bit mad in the head. Keep your eyes peeled for The Box, and The Leathermen, and there’s even part two of Timmy and the Talking Jumper – McFlutie’s Farm coming soon!
